Berlin Semester Opening Social

Es war uns eine große Freude, viele AGLS-Mitglieder, die gerade vom King‘s College London an die Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin gewechselt sind, bei unserem Berlin Semester Opening Social zu sehen! Nach vielen Online-Events und Socials in den letzten zwei Jahren konnten sich die zwei Jahrgänge des Doppelstudiums endlich in Person treffen. Die Mitglieder tauschten sich über das Leben in Berlin und den Universitätswechsel aus, und stießen auf den Beginn des neuen Semesters an. Vielen Dank an alle TeilnehmerInnen!

Workshop mit White & Case

It was an absolute pleasure having our first careers event of the academic year with White & Case! Our members had the opportunity to learn about the firm itself, as well as the insolvency and restructuring department during an engaging presentation from members of the firm’s Düsseldorf office. Drinks and canapés followed and everyone was thrilled to ask long-awaited questions, whilst getting personal insights into life as a city firm lawyer.

Cleary Gottlieb Workshop in Cologne on the 03.11.2022

Wir laden Euch zu einer exklusiven Veranstaltung mit Cleary Gottlieb in Köln ein! Das Event findet am Donnerstag, den 03. November um 18:30 Uhr im Kölner Büro der Kanzlei (Theodor-Heuss-Ring 9, 50668 Köln) statt.

Im Rahmen eines Workshops werden die Anwälte Julian Sanner, Philipp Kirst und Julia Gleich ihre Tätigkeit im Bereich EU/Kartellrecht vorstellen und Eure Fragen zu ihrem Karriereweg in einer internationalen Großkanzlei beantworten. Im Anschluss wird es bei Drinks und einem Imbiss die Gelegenheit zum ungezwungenen Austausch geben.

Welcome to Berlin! Infoveranstaltung für KCL Studenten am 13.10.2022 + Semester Opening Social

Are you a third-year student on the double-degree program who just transferred from KCL to HU? Then this event is for you! Join our info session next Thursday (13.10.2022) at 4pm for useful information about your upcoming academic year at HU. The info session will be held on the law faculty’s campus, with exact location to be announced soon.

Afterwards – we warmly invite all of your members who are currently in Berlin to join our Semester Opening Social! We can’t wait to catch up over a beer starting with 7pm at Villa Neukölln (Hermannstrasse 233, 12049 Berlin).

KCL Academic Year Kick-Off

And so a new year of AGLS events has begun in London! We were thrilled to see so many new and old faces at the Knights Templar, as KCL students celebrated the beginning of a new exciting academic year! Whether it was catching up after a long summer or getting to know each other, everyone relished the opportunity to spend some time with their fellow Anglo-Germans

Ihr seid neugierig darauf, wie die Arbeit als Rechtsanwalt in einer internationalen Großkanzlei aussieht und möchtet mehr über Karrieremöglichkeiten bei White & Case erfahren? Dann meldet Euch jetzt für den Workshop zum Thema „M&A meets Insolvency“ an. Das Event wird spannende Einblicke in den Praxisbereich bieten und ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, um sich mit den Anwälten von White & Case über ihren Arbeitsalltag auszutauschen.
