We are excited to announce that we will have another event as part of our lecture series “Insights into the practice of German and English Legal Professionals” for our members. It will take place on 23rd March at 5pm (GMT) online.
Our guest speaker is Mirjam Schorr, a partner at Kennedys in London who is qualified in Germany as well as in England & Wales. She specialises in the conduct of complex cross-border disputes, in the context of which she regularly advises on questions of jurisdiction and private international law. Her main areas of practice include insurance, environmental liability, and health and safety law. Mirjam is also a committee member of the British-German Jurists’ Association.
Mirjam will give an insight into her career, the type of cases that she works on and what it is like being a lawyer working in between two jurisdictions!
