Workshop mit Amnesty International in London

On 25th of November, the Anglo-German Law Society visited the Human Rights Action Centre in London where the UK Section of Amnesty International is based. We were hosted by Dan Jones, Education Advisor in the UK Office of Amnesty, who has been an active human rights campaigner for more than 40 years and gave a very personal and informative presentation about Amnesty, success stories and opportunities to get involved.
These include joining a local Amnesty group or a student group at University. Furthermore, students can participate in Amnesty’s ‚Write for Rights‘ campaign running over November and December and thereby support people all around the world who have suffered injustice.
